SACHA ELIE is a classically trained Haitian American actress and children's book author with credits expanding in stage, film and television, in addition Sacha narrates and produces 'Sacha Reads' a biweekly children's podcast, narrating classical children novels. She is also a member of Tim Robbins, award winning theater company, The Actors Gang in Los Angeles, CA. Sacha is a recent M.F.A. graduate from UCLA's school of Theater Film and Television. She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, And AEA.
My name is Sacha and I'm an actor with a Masters Degree in acting from UCLA.
I have experience in film theater and television.
I have experience teaching grade school, and middle school children the fundamentals of drama and an Italian improv based style of theater named, Commedia Del Arte.
I see that some of the needs include working on refining vocal skills.
For Beginning Actors: Private coaching focuses on propelling the actors artistic development and is focused to strengthen an actors work, not replace work that is done in a group class or setting.
Some of whats included in my prices and in my teaching/coaching style is breaking down the voice, through a series of exercises and incorporating the body to help physicalize the story that the actor is telling.
I work on exercises that helps get the actor comfortable with their work both physically and vocally.
Private coaching is about the structure, not the content. Most clients book an hour long session per week. Either party can reschedule with a day's advance notice. 1 hour is 39/hr.

Price:
I charge $45/hr.
Availability:
I'm avail Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Evenings, Saturday and Sundays.
If you have a last min audition, call me and we will make an apt. I will work with your scheudle.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I get a sense of thier history. What their goals are and what material they are attracted to. I suggest material or if they have material they are really passionate about I work with that and I take it from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
B.F.A. in theater from Actings.
M.F.A. in Acting from UCLA.
Theater and Film credits as well.
How did you get started teaching?
With Tim Robbins theater company the actors gang, I taught Commedia Del Arte to middle school and elementrary aged children. I also taught at UCLA to graduate and undergraduate stuedents, and to international students as well.
I've also coached one on one monolouge and scenes for TV.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with college students and middle school kids as well as adults in private coaching.
