About

My specialty lies in voice and speech work, and classical actor training. I work with people to release what they already naturally have--powerful, efficient, and unique voices. We just have to learn to let go of all the habits and tensions we've picked up along the way, and free ourselves up to respond to external and internal stimuli. Voice work and Acting go hand in hand.

I love working with folks of all ages on voice and presence. It is so rewarding when someone has a breakthrough and finds power and confidence in their own voice. I also really enjoy working on accents and dialects with clients, as well as american accent acquisition. I teach that no accents are bad--but there is power in control and choice for those that want it!

Frequently asked questions

We will have a short phone call or zoom meeting to discuss expectations and what you are looking for--as well as evaluate where I think you're at and what I think may be useful to you. Then you can decide if lessons are for you or not.

I have a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Indiana University. I taught Acting at Indiana University for three years and Voice and Speech for two. I have also taught at multiple private institutions for a combined teaching experience of over 6 years. I've also acted professionally on stage and in voice over.

Pricing is always based on what you need to work on, how long it will take, your current area/market, and your current means. I work on a sliding scale, and by quote. Always feel free to ask without the pressure of being 'sold'.

Find the teacher that works well with you. If you don't communicate well or 'vibe' or what have you...it's not going to be a great experience. Even if they are they best of the best--they may not be the best for you.
