About
We work to make acting easy. Let’s face it, if it’s hard for you to do it...its hard for people to watch it. By utilizing understanding of brain physiology/psychology we unblock an actors instincts. When the actor discovers the audience discovers. We love dangerous and unpredictable actors and are bored by safe actors. So we make acting more like life to make it more life-like.
Watching lightbulbs go on in an actors mind and understanding how their process parallels life and our social interactions is energizing for me. I also love to hear about bookings. Making money, getting accolades and respect is the confirmation that you are bringing value to the world through your talent, That’s magic.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Theatre Arts, post graduate psychology study, have been acting for 40 years and still work regularly. I have been teaching for 20 years and have trained countless working actors. I also worked as a session runner for auditions and have seen thousands in my lifetime so I can tell you why actors bomb auditions or knock it out of the park. I also have produced, directed and sold screenplays.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Let’s make this simple. The first class is free so you can test the waters. Then its $50- per class. If you show up you pay. If for any reason you can’t make it or I am working on a film or TV show, you don’t pay. If you want to get better faster you can schedule 1 hour private sessions for $150-. If you schedule regular private sessions your rate goes down per session.
How did you get started teaching?
After studying in various classes for years and working in the industry, teachers started asking me to teach. Actors started requesting my classes. After a while I realized I could make actors better much more quickly if I did not have the restrictions of the other teaching systems. So I started my own talent development studio in 1999.
What types of students have you worked with?
Beginners, working actors and familiar faces who need help with potentially life changing auditions.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love when an actor is working in class and I find a simple insight that allows them to suddenly feel a wave of emotion. It happens often and often in their first class.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The industry changes dramatically every year now. Teachers who are not also working as actors should be suspect. You don’t want to learn what actors did 20 years ago.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Your teacher is going to be like a therapist. Find one that you trust and feel comfortable with but who has the courage to challenge your fears and build your confidence.
