About
Since earning my M.A. in Percussion Performance to supplement my B.A. in Music Education, I have taught music at the middle school, high school, and college levels. These positions included both group instruction and one on one lessons.
Gaining experience at these varied age levels has allowed me to provide unique insight into assessing a student's skill set and creating plans to meet specific goals no matter the student's age or skill set.
Teaching private lessons combines my two favorite aspects of music; teaching and performing at a high level. I find great fulfillment in creating a supportive environment for a student while continuing to develop my personal skillset to provide a model for students to emulate.

What types of students have you worked with?
During my career, I have taught private lessons to students of various backgrounds ages 4 to 50+. Some students prefer to simply prepare for an upcoming audition while others aim to create long-term goals including high school and college prep.
