About
Patience is my virtue. I will give my students one task at a time to avoid getting overwhelmed with information. If students seem to be progressing faster we we will make the load heavier. I am here for you, not for me so will spend as much time as we need to on a task. I am also very energetic and excited about music all the time and I aim to engrain musical inspiration into your life and musical experiences.
I am obsessed with music. Music is all I think about everyday whether I am playing or teaching or doing anything else. I hope to make the world as musical as it can be so we can come together (right now... over me) and communicate with one another in a way that is beyond language.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I will see what level a student is already playing at. We must make sure we understand general music terms about the instrument(s) we are playing and other musical terms that have to do with all music. (Which will also come gradually as we get deeper into the world of music). We then play music! I will teach through song with some exercises. Not through exercises with some songs. The goal is to play so why don't we start right away. At this point I will work with students to do play and learn what the students wants and see where our journey takes us.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have and Associates of Arts degree in drum performance, and I am achieving my Bachelor's of Arts degree with a minor in Audio Engineering at Musician's Institute.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$30 for 30 minutes
$45 for 60 minutes
How did you get started teaching?
I often will help new students and other peers at my school with subjects that they struggle with and I found myself having a lot of fun and truly understanding each subject deeper. One notable student is my peer Jose who is mostly blind and can't see enough to read so he has to learn through audible words and playing. I have gained much patience and abilities to teach through this experience and I am excited for more opportunities to help people understand music.
