What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Ask his or her expectations, doing my best to make the student as comfortable as possible and figure out the best way to help right away.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified with USPTA and PTR.
Was a Junior ITF in Europe, Open level in California. Volunteer Assistant Coach at John Burrought in Burbank on my kids High school team.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My fee is $85 and hour . If two players want to take a lesson $100 an hour
Offer discount if someone booked 10 lessons
How did you get started teaching?
After my playing days I started to coached my kids and their friends , my daughter was a 4 years High School player and my son received a tennis scholarship for a D1 California College where he was a single and double starter for 4 years . After I sold my Catering Bussiness , I was hired by Tennis Mechanix Academy where I coached full time there for 6 years while doing private and semi private lessons .

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Talk to him or her, verbal communication is very important. Ask to be able to witness a lesson and see for yourself if it will be a good fit
Everyone look good on paper but not everyone is capable of coaching.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask yourself why are you taking tennis lessons and tell the coach your expectations.
