Besides forty years of professional acting experience, I teach acting for the local theatres (Capital Stage Academy, Sacramento Theatre Company's Young Professionals Conservatory, etc.), am a Adjunct Professor of Theatre Arts for the Los Rios Community College District, and have been coaching one-on-one for many years. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I assess the experience level and any specific goals the student has, then develop a plan based on those.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $85 an hour, and lessons are one hour each.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work mostly with adults with stage credits. I will coach serious college students and even high school seniors if they have stage experience and specific goals in mind; e.g. admission to a training program or an upcoming audition.
