My name is Jake Mouchawar. I’m an award-winning performer, director, puppeteer, and theater educator in Orange County, CA.
My approach to coaching is to use approachable techniques and exercises to unearth a student’s own individual voice in order to help discover character. Great actors are those who have a deep understanding of who they are in order to pretend to be people they are not. Viola Spolin, Uta Hagen, and Augusto Boal inspire my teaching philosophy.
