Hi! My name is Sabrina, I'm 24 and a professional voice instructor/recording artist/performer. I currently work from a state-of-the-art home studio, with more than 4 years of professional vocal technique and instruction under my belt.
I've had the honour of creating two hit YouTube videos, performing at Carnegie Hall, learning vocal technique from top industry professionals, and competing at state level competitions. I've had over 15 years of professional training from leading industry professionals who've worked with artists like Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, and JLo (to name a few)
In our lessons, we will cover:
Vocal Technique- how the voice works, vocal exercises, extending your range, breathing correctly and controlling pitch and tone.
Song Lessons- we will start with cover songs of your choice and innovate to make them your own! Emphasis on original style.
Recording (if desired)- Home studio with state of the art equipment and a Logic Pro X Recording System.

Ofte times people ask me, "Why haven't you pursued a career as an artist, what made you want to teach instead?"
My answer is simple.
Teaching lets me inspire hope, and ignite the power of every beautiful voice within. I believe anyone can learn to sing with a little willpower, belief in oneself, and a great teacher.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually like to begin with a consultation session at a promotional rate. This is generally a 1 hour session where the student and I get to know each other, and I can familiarize myself with their goals as well as share my unique teaching techniques.
Parents or guardians may be present at the first lesson if desired. During the first lesson, I'll be able to get a feel for the student's voice and the level which they are at. I'll also be able to adjust and customize our lessons based on the student's specific needs and level!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
-15+ years of professional vocal training from industry experts who've worked with artists like JLo, Shakira, Miley Cyrus, Tiffany Alvord etc...
-2+ years in successfully teaching voice, started original business in New York
-Attended the Musician's Institute with emphasis in audio engineering and voice

I charge a standard rate of $60/hour
How did you get started teaching?
I originally started teaching in New York, my hometown. When I moved out to California, I pursued a degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, with music always having been my strongest passion; hence why I created a beautiful, state of the art home studio, which has come to be known as 'Sabrina ProVocals.' It brings me so much joy to be able to teach the art of voice to others, as I believe having the ability to sing is truly a god given gift.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with all types of students before, girls and boys, men and women. I've taught a broad age range of students, the youngest being 6, to 60. No matter how old or who you may be, my motto is that as long as you are willing to learn, I am more than willing to teach you and help you reach your goals.
