I have a degree in Music Education and a teaching certification in Denver Public Schools and have had experience both teaching and playing in varieties of settings. My experiences include playing at the Denver Performing Arts Center, Dazzle Jazz club and teaching music and drums privately and in public schools.
I enjoy most working with individual students and seeing them discover the many wonderful life lessons that come from playing music.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always start teaching by hearing from students what thier goals are for their lessons. We will take the first few weeks to get to know one another and get a feel for where the student is at, then we will start working on longer term projects together.
