I love what I do. Since studying/performing I have always wanted to teach as I was so inspired by my many instructors. I found my passion when I was only nine years old and with the help of my vocal and acting instructors I have found myself making a living doing what I love- singing and telling stories! It's exhilirating helping others find a passion and being part of their journey. I am enthusiastic about finding a way to getting students to achieve their goals while making a fun, safe environment to learn.

    Frequently asked questions

I would start by asking what their specific needs/goals are by taking lessons. From their, I'd make a lesson plan to suite their needs. For basic students- I'd discuss a lot about making music, how to warm up, placement of the voice, vowels and their shape, etc. the list goes on. For more advanced students we can dive right into the work with specifics on voice placement/pedagogy, as well as pieces to strengthen/challenge their instrument.

I have received my B.A. in Musical Theatre in May 2017 from the University of Northern Colorado. I have worked for regional theatres, Royal Caribbean Cruis Line, and am currently working at Walt Disney World starring in Finding Nemo the Musical. My experience with various NYC auditions as well as college auditions and studying in college has given me a lot of knowledge that I hope can help impact others on their journey with musical theatre.

    My lessons are $60/hour.

I discovered my passion for teaching in high school where I was a section leader of my a'capella choir as well as the mixed choir. I took a lot of leadership roles in high school helping teach the music during rehearsal. I have also been vocal captain during some of my many productions.

I have worked with students 9-17. Students who are just starting out and students who are prepping for their college auditions.

One of the best parts of performing for Finding Nemo is going out for meet and greets. During a meet and greet I met the sweetest little boy who saw the show quite often. His parents thanked us for what we do and meeting with their family. They told us their son was mute for the first few years of his life and that this show changed him. He loves the show so much that he has become more outgoing and will sing along with his favorite characters. It was a really touching moment that shows music and theatre are so powerful. It will forever be one of my favorite moments- I'm glad my cast could make a difference and provide happiness.

I would say to know what you want. Are you looking for a classical teacher, pop/rock music, musical theatre? There are so many different techniques out there so when searching be true to your needs. After that- test out the teacher and be honest to yourself if their teaching style is right for you!

Why do you want to sing/act/etc.?

Do you have a specific audition or event coming up that you need help preparing for?

    How advanced are you?

Are you interested in really learning the mechanics?
