Flamenco Underground
About
My name is Natalia Perez del Villar. I am a flamenco dancer from Spain.
I teach Flamenco Dance classes to children and adults in the Atlanta Area.
I also offer woprkhsops in Atlanta and Colorado.
I love flamenco. It is a really beautiful art form.
I love to work with students, create choreographies and see students growing as dancers.
I do not only show choreography but also focus a lot on technique, is very important to learn to use your body the correct way as well as having a proper technique for footwork.
I also teach compas (Rhythm), since we use not just 4x4s in flamenco but have the 12 beats rhythm is very important to learn compas and palmas (clapping).
Music structure, to be able to dance you need to know the different palos (Flamenco styles).
I really enjoy been surrounded by great artists, dancers, musicians and singers, and provide a good show at the same time we have fun on the stage.
