About
Manea Polynesia Means: Beauty of Polynesia.
To us this meaning, this passion for all Polynesian Islands, is a mantra for every performance, every practice, and our daily lives. Manea continues to bring the elements of Fire, Earth, Water, and Air into each performance. This season's focus has evolved out of our great respect for this Mother Earth and her Gifts!
For the past 10 years, Manea has received a 5 star rating from our clients on Yahoo, and as a professional performance and theater group, was proud to receive 2nd place in the 2008 Channel 7's A-List awards for Theater Groups.

I have Professionally performed at countless venues throughout Denver and the surrounding areas since 1994 and after starting this halau, I realized that the opportunities brought through teaching Hula and performing are remarkable. With Manea Polynesia, I have been determined to remain true to the Polynesian culture, integrating traditional form and music with contemporary Polynesian dance choreography.
From Hula to other forms of Polynesian dancing, I have fallen in love with this beautiful culture and its unique and remarkable people. From family to food to music, my Polynesian family has become an essential part of this group, inspiring me through each step forward in this passionate art.
From decade long friendships to grateful and passionate clients, I've found more rewards in this community than I ever thought possible. But every day, I'm reminded of why we are here, why we keep dancing, and why we keep bringing new members into this unique Halau: The Aloha spirit.
