About
I am a professionally trained dancer and instructor providing quality lessons and choreography. With my instruction, I am able to clearly break down dance technique making the impossible made easy, and the easy look impossible. With my sense of humor and my fun-loving personality, you will be laughing and having a good time at the same time.
I am a people person. I love talking and interacting with people. The most rewarding part of my job is giving people the confidence they need to look amazing on the dance floor.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first discuss what the students interests and there goals are. New students start with an introductory special, which is two 25 minute lessons for $20. At this time we go over 2-3 different types of dances (country, salsa, waltz, foxtrot, swing etc.). The types of dances we start with is based on the student's preferences and interests.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in education and dance. Professional teaching certification through Dance Vision International Dance Association Certified to teach waltz, tango, foxtrot, Viennese waltz, samba, mambo, west coast swing, east coast swing, bolero, rumba, cha-cha.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
5 lesson package is $60/lesson. 10 lesson package is $55/lesson.
How did you get started teaching?
I put my first tutu on when I was just 5 years old. I've been dancing my whole life but it wasn't until after I graduated with my bachelor's degree that I realized I wanted to make a career out of dancing. They say if you do something you love you never work a day in your life. I can testify that is true.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages and all abilities from toddlers to seniors. From the most beginner to professional level dancers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A father/daughter dance, it was simply beautiful. I also had the opportunity to recreate Mel Brook's Young Frankenstein's "Puttin' on the Ritz." It was a blast to work on.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who can make you laugh and have a good time while you are learning how to dance.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Why are you taking dance lessons? What are your goals for dance lessons? Then a simple follow up question would be, how much instruction and how much outside practice do you think you'll need in order to achieve your goal(s)?
