Deannah has been a professional dancer for more than 20 years and she loves to share the amazing world of dance with other people and help them dance as a way to stay healthy, physically and mentally.
DS Dancesport Ballroom is experienced in preparing students for single events (wedding dance, quinceanera, team building, competitive amateur students, professional students, social dancers, show events and more). We love working with wedding couples and can assist with creating a memorable first dance with 4-8 weeks of lessons.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will meet with a new customer in person or over the phone, discuss goals, and suggest an approach. Once we agree on a plan, we can start lessons right away!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been dancing since childhood and I am trained and certified to teach in all levels and styles of American Smooth, American Rhythm, International Standard, and International Latin dance. I have worked, coached, and trained as a professional ballroom dancer and instructor for more than 20 years. I am also able to teach all types of social dance from salsa to nightclub and everything in between!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons are generally sold as a package once we agree on your dance program. I can do indivdual lessons but a package that supports a longer committment produces the best results.
How did you get started teaching?
I began dancing as a child in Bulgaria! I have loved dance and been a dancer my entire life! It is a great honor to bring the beauty and magic of dance to all of my students.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with students of all ages and skill levels. I work with social dancers, wedding couples, and competitive dancers. I can help you prepare for a show or special occasion or guide your journey as a competitive ballroom dancer. I can also help you improve your skills and look great on the floor at the clubs. I adore helping wedding couples prepare a magical wedding dance and also working with couples who want to dance together as a hobby. Children are my specialty! Ballroom is a great activity for kids and I have a lot of experience with young students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have had the opportunity to dance with several prominent local business people and medical professionals at various Dancing with the Stars and Dancing with the Docs events in the Denver area. These fundraising shows are so much fun! I get to meet and work with a new student, take them on a special dance journey preparing for the performance and also help a local charity or organization.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I offer caring, professional, experienced, fun dance training for ballroom students of all levels. You want a teacher who will be invested in your dance training. I commit to work with you and help make you the best dancer you can be!
