About
Your audition doesn’t start when you begin your monologue. It starts with managing your life, your language and your instrument.
It starts here where you learn to be in the moment.
You will learn over and over again to be authentic and true to your character.
You will learn to stand up and stand out. You will learn to be free and open to life! This will translate to the stage and to your world! They are called plays for a reason... plays are steeped in joy!
I studied theater at Denver University and then went on to further my craft at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. I worked as a Union actor for approximately 20 years. I decided I had Mastered the Art when friends of mine came to see me in a play where I got the chance to play multiple characters. A few of my favorite actors came to see the show... and didn’t recognize me. That’s when I knew I had reached my artistic goal: To Master the Craft of Acting.
It was an amazing and deeply rewarding journey. I’d like to help make that true for you as well.
While I love actors, this art form also serves to build confidence, and (something we could all use more of) a great ability to listen.
My references are people who are presently working in the television and motion picture industry.
Great satisfaction comes when fear is replaced by intention and magic happens in the moment! You can feel the paradigm shift! I give very simple exercises that serve to empower your words and actions. This helps to serve your acting career AND your life. I love to watch that transformation take place! There is nothing like empowering people to be their best selves on and off stage!
