Specializing in custom designed lessons, the D.A.M. Studios encourages the diligent pursuit of what most serves the needs of the individual student's interests and abilities. As dance educators, we look to identify each dancer's unique interests in learning in order to motivate. Our supportive environment provides enthusiastic encouragement for the pursuit of personal areas of interest - the 'what' and 'how' of the individual.
Our primary approach when teaching is to implement 'fun' as a vehicle for creating growth - where the students' hearts lead the way for what their minds and bodies will learn. We strive to entertain your passions and curiosities, in order to enlighten your dancing intellect. Our instructors motivate with charisma, personability, and amusement.
We are a cozy, relaxed, warm and welcoming dance studio located in Littleton, CO (we also make 'house calls' :) Our studio offers group classes and private instruction. Clients can book personal lessons or join group classes with any of our professional instructors. The D.A.M. Team is made up of the best dance teachers in Colorado, all highly educated and professionally trained in a broad spectrum of styles and wide variety of dance genres.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
All new students receive their first group class for FREE!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We take great pride in the education and training of our instructors. Several of our teachers have Masters degrees in their field, many others hold Bachelor's degrees in dance. All of our teaching staff are working professionals in the field of performing arts. At SOTA, we insist that our educators are educated :)

4 Dance/Fitness Classes (4 months exp) = $78 (19.50 per class)
6 Dance/Fitness Classes (6 months exp) = $114 (19.00 per class)
8 Dance/Fitness Classes (8 months exp) = $148 (18.50 per class)
10 Dance/Fitness Classes (9 months exp) = $180 (18.00 per class)

How did you get started teaching?
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be aware of the qualifications / experience of the teachers. It is not uncommon to have lower tuition rates because the 'educators' are young and inexperienced, willing to work for very low rates. Dance involves theoretical thinking. A quality dance educator teaches concepts, kinesthetic understanding, and asks students to think, as opposed to someone who stands in the mirror and solely expects students to mimic their movements.
