About
Friendly, supportive environment with quality training. Our dancers are known to grow at a rapid pace and offer continuous love and encouragement to one another. Careful selection is used when choosing staff, which is why we have strong training and a genuine care for each student.
Seeing my students develop a passion for dance, when they grasp how influential dance is and the power behind connecting all you are into movement.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Helping students develop confidence and patience. Learning comes quickest when a dancer is confident and patient in learning new things. No one is judging; we are always a work in progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Michelle worked for several studios and ran a professional hip-hop crew. She learned the things that worked and didn’t work in dance studios and combined this with her love of dance and teaching to build her own studio.

How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching at a very young age in my home studio. As I got older I branched out into other studios, after school programs, summer intensives, and guest classes. I've always had a passion for teaching more than other areas of my dance journey, I feel blessed to watch a dancers journey from the beginning and see their ability and confidence grow.
What types of students have you worked with?
Several types, beginners to professionals, special needs, at risk.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We recently re-located to a larger studio, this has been a dream of mine and my students for years and we are now watching our dream fall into place is we build our new home.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Soulfully Driven Dance has a "Tips on Finding a Dance Studio" section on their site under the "About SD" tab. You will find what the atmosphere of the studio should be, undertanding if there is qualified staff and other things to look for on the dance studio journey
