About
LaMaR Productions has been "acting out" for 25 years. We love to teach, direct, sing, dance, write, and be as creative as we can. We have been the in house theater program for Western Ct State University, servicing and working with hundreds of elementary, middle school, pre School and college students.We love coaching our students and watching them blossom into confident, self assured actors. Linda Randazzo, director of LaMaR Productions holds a Masters Degree in education and Theater. She has been a drama teacher, professional actress, writer, and voice over talent for many years. She loves working one on one with young aspiring performers.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Talk a bit. Play some theater games, do some improvs together.
Discover who they are. Find out what they want to accomplish. If they have something specific to work toward, say an audition, we dive right in. Find material for them to work on.

Degrees in education and theater.

How did you get started teaching?
Course of study in college was education, with years of performing.
Taught elementary school, got hired as a drama teacher, and have been at it ever since.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Feel comfortable with the teacher. Make sure they have the experience and background in the type of instruction you are looking for.
