About
Herstatt Studio is an established Voice and Piano Studio located in West Redding. I have students from the surrounding towns; Weston, Wilton, Ridgefield, and Bethel. The Studio location is very convenient for all the surrounding towns. The Voice Studio is very diverse and deals with vocal technique in depth, and covers a variety of Vocal repertoire; classical, musical theater, pop, jazz and folk. I help many students to prepare for their various auditions such as Regionals, Allstate, Musicals, college, and any other auditions they may have. We have recitals, singing solos, and duets, and we have a lot of fun!,
The Piano Studio is also very diverse, and deals with Piano technique in depth, and covers a variety of piano repertoire; Classical, Comtemporsry, Jazz, and Ragtime. We have a number of Piano Recitals and I also help with Student's Piano auditions. We perform solos and duets and duos at the recitals, it is a lot of fun!!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
One -on-One private lessons with 100 percent focus on that student.
With a new student, I introduce good warm ups, try some reading, then explore a variety of music!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Undergraduate studies in Piano Performance and Music education.
Graduate Studies in Voice and Choral music.
I have had Herstatt studio since the year 2000.

Herstatt Studio runs on 3 Trimesters during the school year.
The Trimester Tuition includes:
1- 30 minute lesson, 45- minute lesson, or 1 Hour lesson per week.
various Study recitals, informal Round Tables at the Studio, and 2 Formal Recitals at another venue.
The Trimester includes 13 lessons.
Based on:
30 Minute lesson, Trimester Fee is $624
45 Minute Lesson: Trimester Fee is $1,040
1 Hour Lesson: Trimester Fee is $1,235
How did you get started teaching?
I worked as a Mudic Director in the school system for several years. Then I opened up my own Private Studio, and have loved ever since!
