About
Hi! I am a recent college graduate opening my lesson studio. I offer private coaching in composition, songwriting, arranging, music theory, ear training, notation software, drums, percussion, and beginner piano.
I graduated from NYU Steinhardt with a B.M. in Music Theory & Composition in May 2020. I am also a professional actor, with credits on Broadway, Lincoln Center, and Nickelodeon. I have played drums for seventeen years and piano for fifteen, performing in jazz band, concert band, orchestra, marching band, musical theater pits, and contemporary music ensembles. Over the past several years I have remained active as a freelance musician in New York City. I have experience as a music teacher/camp counselor for children of all ages.
Do you need help preparing for college entrance exams? AP Music Theory? Assessment of a composition/songwriting portfolio? Or are you interested in sharpening your skills on your instrument? I can offer dependable, personalized service and scalable prices.
As of now I am primarily seeking virtual students. My schedule is flexible and I can meet over Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, Google Hangout, etc. I have access to drums, keyboards, and recording equipment in my home studio.

I first became interested in the arts by imitating Keith Lockhart conduct the Boston Pops on VHS. I was lucky to have many mentors from a young age who opened my eyes and ears to all aspects of the artmaking process, and I am passionate about doing the same for young people. My path through music was unique—beginning in theater, playing drums, and going to a conservatory-style composition program. I think this allows me to be empathetic to a wide range of aesthetics, perspectives and types of artist, and hopefully help foster that individuality.
