I enjoy teaching and learning. Seeing my students develop tennis skills give them a sense of achievement, progress and self-esteem which are valuable on and off the court.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A complimentary 30 minute evaluation followed by a recommendation on areas to work on. Typically booked in 6-week packages, one lesson per week for either 60 or 90 minutes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
USPTA certified since 1993. USTA New England Men's Open New player of the Year in 2007. Guinness World Records titles in 2008 and 2015.

Private, semi-private or group lessons. Pricing is customized based on duration and number of lessons and students.
How did you get started teaching?
After graduating from UConn I became a certified tennis instructor. I have taught at area clubs in CT including Yale Unuversity, Weston Racquet Club, Milford Indoor Tennis, North Haven Heath & Racquet, Oak Lane and Tennis Central.
What types of students have you worked with?
Beginners, intermediate and advanced players of all ages and levels. High school, USTA league and tournament players. Red, orange, green dot and yellow ball pathway.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Setting the Guinness World Record title for the Longest Tennis Volley (30,576) on Roger Federer's birthday in 2015.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Research your pro and ask others about courtside manner, teaching style and experience.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are your objectives and goals? Do you want to compete or play recreationally? Are you playing to learn and develop skills or for social or fitness reasons? Do you have a tennis buddy? (Someone likeminded who could join you)
