This business is creative and community-minded, geared to empowering people through the arts.
I enjoy engaging students to empower their bodies/minds while pursuing the creation of art.
What I liked about working with MB Dance Theater is how Megan works very hard to give excellent direction throughout her Ballet class. This is especially important because the class takes place over Zoom. The Improvisation class also allows for the students to think outside of the box in more ways than one.
The class was taught effectively in a virtual format that was simple to comprehend. I liked that each student was given individual attention and corrections.
I would give Megan’s dance classes more than 5 stars if I could! I’ve taken both her Improvisation Workshop and Modern Dance classes. You feel so liberated after! I feel like she really does a great job of embracing this space that we’re in with social distancing and creating something special. You begin to notice the advantages of having a virtual dance studio in the comfort of your home. What you can create during class is endless. You find once class is over, the notion of endless, travels into trying to make intimidatingly creative meals for dinner!
Slow clear pacing of the lessons, lots of opportunities for questions for the student to feel confident in the experience.
