Sparkle & Shine Dance is unlike a typical dance studio in so many ways! Welcoming 200+ students into our facility each and every week, we are definietly the place to be in CT for Dance, Acrobatics, Irish Step, Tricking/Parkour & so much more!
We offer 2 sessions each year, to accomodate students that want to participate in sports in the Fall and Dance in the Winter or vice versa! Our staff has performed, trained, and taught all over the world (from China, to England!). Our end of year showcase isnt a typical dance recital! Parents will enjoy our family friendly enviornment and our ability to make dance affordable for all!
Our competitive team is one of the most accomplished in the area! Competing all around the East Coast, and performing in Disney World, at Madison Square Garden and at Citi Field within a 3 month time span!
We offer funa and exciting programs and classes along with sUmmer Camps for all ages, interests and abilities!
Our yearly class offerings include Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Contortion, Toddler Classes, Irish Step, Cheerleading & Parkour/Tricking!
SASD is also an amazing place to host your childs next birthday celebration! With 3,400 square feet of play space, we provide the entertainment, set up, decorations, paper goods, activities, prizes and clean up! Packages available for any size!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We offer classes for all ages and levels!
Recreational Students (who simply want to enroll in weekly dance classes for fun, to learn and grow as a dancer) should email Miss. Gabby about our leveling system! For these students, most classes are based on age and previous training.
Competition Students must be selected by SASD staff and invited to participate on the team! Competition Dancers must be advanced for their age in specific styles of dance, be able to commit more time to training and be ready to work hard!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Miss. Gabby started dancing at the age of 2! She began assitant teching at the age of 12 which immediately sparked her passion and love for the art of dance!
She continued through highschool and into college. In college she graduated with a Bachelors in Business with a Minor in Dance! She trained for 3 summers with the staff of the National Dance Institute, meeitng and learning from the found, Jacques D'Amboise (the prodigy of George Balanchine).
