About
I am an actor, director, filmmaker, and theater artist, creating work that physically engages, intellectually inspires, and curiously interprets the world in which we live. I've worked as a professional actor and director in NYC and in the Washington, DC metro area since 2010 at many DC-area theaters, including The Kennedy Center, Imagination Stage, Ford's Theatre, Studio Theatre, Synetic Theater, Theatre J, and more. I started coaching acting students in 2014 and my students have gone on to star in shows Off-Broadway, in Regional Theaters, on Television, in Web Series, film, and recently in the feature film "Harriet", and more. I have taught acting as a Guest Artist/Lecturer and as Adjunct Faculty at universities including University of Mary Washington, American University, and University of the Arts in Philadelphia. My students have booked auditions for professional projects, increased their self-confidence, and improved their physicality onstage, all while having more freedom, fun, and play while performing! In my spare time, I teach and practice yoga. I'm a visual artist, coffee and tea lover, and I'm always down to meet new people. I am passionate about sharing the craft of acting with people of all ages- teenagers, young adults, and adults who are young at heart.
