Miss Monique asked me to read the poem for a production called Fabulousy 40 and over now I had never had the experience or heart to perform in anyway before a crowd of people. Because I worked this production as and Usher I knew the crowd this play would bring. I said yes very nervously. Well let me say day one of rehearsal as Monique made me feel very confident and comfortable in myself I left rehearsal not only reading the poem, but I became one of the narrators. During rehearsals when I became frustrated with myself as I forgot or missed a line or two, coach Caldwell helped me feel relaxed in my mind and body to be able to perform in front of the audience. Thanks Miss Caldwell for believing in me and bringing out a talent that I never knew was in me, thats speaking in front of a live audience. Thanks for your honesty, work ethics and most of all for being an awesome coach. I needed the extra love and care she showed me to overcome my negative thoughts and fears I put on myself. Thanks Miss Caldwell for being an awesome coach and teacher love you dearly.

I was so grateful to come across the opportunity to try my hand in acting as one of the narrators in Deron Clouds Musical, S.H.E.S. Fabulously 40 and Over where I was honored to have Monique Caldwell as my Acting Coach and Instructor. I was nervous and new to the experience of the theatre world she helped me to gain the confidence I needed to help me perform at my best. She was patient, kind, understanding, down-to-earth, fun to work with, very professional and through her instruction, she helped me to not feel overwhelmed or pressured. The tips that she gave to help me to learn my lines were phenomenal. Through her coaching and instruction gave me an experience that Ill never forget and I would definitely choose her again as my coach.

I was having trouble knowing when to come in with my lines and we did an exercise just once then I was able to get through the entire play without skipping a beat. I knew where to come in and it’s all because of our memory exercise. Thanks Acting Basics Creative Services, you helped me be a success.
