About
My name is Yvona Gonzalez and I have been dancing for 17years now. I have my degree in dance performance from Valencia College. While in college I was part of Valenica Dance Theater Company and was able to travel the US taking different workshops on many different types of dance and even yoga. I specialize in teaching and choreography. I have performed many different places around the US and have taught children and adults for the past 9 years in Florida. I have studied every style from ballet, modern, hip hop, jazz, contemporary, acrobatics, belly dancing, break dancing, lyrical, flexibilty and stretching, zumba, pole dancing, burlesque and ballroom. I also have my certification in barre fitness, which is a low impact workout for those who are injured or just don't want the bulky look from lifting big weights. Barre fitness targets deep into the muscles and works on stenghting, toning and flexability. As well as, being a certified personal trainer. Health and nutrition are very important to me and I like to incorporate it in all my classes to help guide a healthy lifestyle.
I enjoy seeing the progression of someone reaching their goals. It truly makes me happy seeing them happy and getting the amazing feedback always makes me feel good on the inside.
