What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically start with an introduction/fundamentals lesson for the first meeting to see exactly how i will adjust the lesson plan for each individual student to make it a very personalized experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a current PGA Certified Golf Professional. I am also specialized in player development so I can create lesson plans for each student's individal needs.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
A standard 30 minute private lessson costs $60.00. A 3 lesson package is also available for $160.00.
How did you get started teaching?
I assisted teaching other golfers on my varsity golf team in high school, which went to regionals my last three years of high school and state in my senior year. I then started the PGA program at FGCU and graduated with a PGA Certification. With that experience along with all of the experience I have gained throughout the years after I have graduated from the program qualifies me as the teaching professional you need to improve your game.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students and all ages and skill levels. I have worked with juniors to college golfers and people ranging from 30-50s and up.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I advise you to hire a teacher who is not only qualified, but also specializes in exactly what will get you to the next level. What is needed is an expert plan to lead through the steps needed to get you to your goal.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should think about what they are looking for, what are thier needs, and also about their budget. I can fulfill what you are looking for, your needs, and have the prices to accomodate practically any budget.
