About this pro

I have 15+ years of teaching experience. I am PTR certified and have taught for Boca Pointe Country Club, Addison Reserve Country Club and Sunrise Tennis Academy.

My USTA rating is 5.0.  I have been ranked as high as # 3 in men's open singles in the Middle States. I compete in men's open singles tournaments on a regular basis and have won numerous men's open tournaments. I have won a USTA league 4.5 team nationals competition in 2011.

As an instructor, I emphasize proper stroke technique, consistency and superior fitness.  I also emphasize mental strength/ability to focus as well as strategy. In a basic lesson with me, a player could expect to hit a lot of balls, both from the forehand and backhand side, some volleys/overheads and also spending some time on serves and return. I will focus on helping the student become consistent with these strokes before talking about adding power and being more aggressive.

I enjoy helping people improve their tennis game and fitness level.

Nick is an awesome instructor and a top-level player. He knows all facets of the game, and he showed me how to add forehand spin, serve with more power, use approach shots, and how to volley. I was noticeably better and faster on the court in just a few weeks. Whether working on something specific or playing points, our training sessions were always intense and productive. I highly recommend Nick for training at all levels.

Nick was great! He scheduled our first lesson the next day. The workout was tough but he was encouraging and very positive. Will book again.

Nicholas is very accommodating with scheduling. He also gives great advise not only about tennis but also how to get my son in better overall shape. My son loves his lessons and says Nicholas kicks his butt! Couldn't have picked a better candidate!
