I absolutely love Kim's acting coaching!
I have been in financial business for many years. Recently, I took a project and need to adapt quickly to play a role in a film within very short time period. I am very lucky to find Kim:
(1) She is well prepared for each lesson. She understood clearly about my objectives;
(2) She gives me lots of valuable tips to improve my acting skills;
(3) She is very quick to grasp the film writer and director's intention for the role;
(4) She pays great attention to every detail of the script to help me to maximize my potential in the role;
(5) She goes above and beyond: she reviews my recording and gives me great feedback after the lesson; she went through multiple scripts within very short time period on her own time;
(6) She is extremely fun to work with;
I just finished my second lesson with Kim. She is not only a great acting coach, but a great actor! She is definitely a go to person in my future film venture!!!

Really great input and a lot of input for the first meeting!! Great constructive critiques.
I am a beginner and was pretty nervous. Kim is such an incredibly warm & positive person, she put me at ease immediately. We hit it off from the start. She gave me not only instruction on acting, but also information about the industry and how-to's on everything from calming my nerves to staying positive in everyday life. Kim definitely knows what she is doing and I am excited for her to take me on the journey of learning to act. I don't think I could have picked a better instructor!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Listening. I listen. Then we work. And then adjust.
The students I work with must have a burning desire to learn how to work in the Acting and Voiceover business.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BA Summa Cum Laude Speech and Drama, Catholic University
Private Tutorage - Robin Barbary, London England
SAG-AFTRA, AEA
Emmy nominee
The original 'Bitching Betty' for NATO Aircraft, first voice to be digitized.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$85 per hour
How did you get started teaching?
As a professional actress, I have always passed on the skills I've learned. Voiceover demands acting chops as well as technical expertise. I saw talented people wanting to work, but having no idea how to work and what the business demands of you to be competitive. I had to help.
What types of students have you worked with?
Raw beginners to successful working pros to established names.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Every week I hear of students landing jobs, audiobooks and representation. That's what it's all about. My students know how to work and successfully compete in the industry. Best of all, they have kept their passion for doing it!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they are actually working pros and not just teachers. I love teachers, but unless you are actually doing the work and know the adjustments of what current styles and opportunities are, you may be missing practical technique for each genre.
