I have trained in this field my entire life. I know what its like to want to devote my life to art, to want to constantly improve and to want to SHARE. I knew this as a child and I know this as an adult. If somebody has a passion and a joy for singing or for playing the piano, it would be an honor and a gift to help them. And I have the skill set to do so!
Music has the ability to connect us to our humanity, to reach into ourselves and to make new and beautiful discovers each and every day. It is the greatest form of communication, and the truest method of healing. Music should viewed with the utmost respect. It is the greatest way to dive into culture, language, history, and story telling.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
To find the joy in the process. Teaching music, making music is a gift and a privilege- but before anything else, it must be looked at as a JOY. I was a young musician who found so much peace and inspiration to singing and playing the piano, and I want to teach somebody to experience that for themselves. To discover their own indivual way of singing, of playing! To be themselves and to use their gift to express that!

$75 for one hour of voice
$60 for one hour of piano
How did you get started teaching?
Through a vocal pedagogy class in my undergraduate degree. I discovered how exciting it is to teach and to reveal the honest beauty behind a voice. I find something special in every artist I hear and see, and I have a set of skils that allows me to help make it shine even brighter.

Both adults and younger!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Having the greatest gift of family time during these troubling times in our world. This pandemic has brought the world back to what matters the most in our lives, and I am so grateful to be with my loved ones creating memories.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Go with the teacher who makes you feel inspired, not nervous. Who makes singing and playing music FUN. A teacher who believes in you but also wants to help you improve. Know when a teacher makes you feel unseen and unheard, and never stick with them.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Why do you want to pursue this? Is practicing something you are willing to do in order to be the player or singer you want to be? Will this be something you will ENJOY learning? What do you hope to improve upon?
