Welcome to First Serve Tennis HP Academy, our primary goal is to make all players be successful and reach their potential to the highest level. Player's sometimes know that coming to practice for many days a week, working hard on the technical part of their game, moving much quicker, faster speed movement is just a small fraction of the many reasons why they are here. Feeling better about their game inside is what we accomplish and how we reach there goals. We prepare tournament players, getting them tournament ready so that they have the confidence needed when stepping onto the court day in and out. First Serve Tennis HP Academy looks at all parts of a player's game. Experience coaches know this to be informed of what each individual needs should be and then put complete focused on what's needed. Whether it might be their footwork, mechanical, or technical, strategic & tactical, physical, mental or emotional components, we will have the continuous dialogue with the player and inform parent of what will be vest course of action to proceed forward. Helping students reach full potential, First Serve Tennis will provide it with fully advanced drills to accomplish this. Put into an environment moreover plays an important role in their development as well. By knowing what works from experience, individual practice routine, they have what kind of schedule, school, sleep, time of relaxation, and social to be successful. Periodization is extremely important so that students continued success stays on its path and not bounce off it's course. Periodization is the efficient planning of an athlete's time schedule and physical training program. The target is to achieve the best possible performance, maximize potential to the highest level in tennis, exceed expectations and reach your dreams of success. If your still thinking what can your kids do during their fall break, how about a week of tennis fun. We are accepting early registrations for this school fall break, a full ten weeks of tennis to enjoy with other students of the same interest. What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Making them feel completely comfortable and relaxed, having no pressure, or stress when learning is key to success. Begin with basics and gradually increase to being more consistent on fore hands, backhand and serving.


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I'm USPTA Certified professional, trained over 30 ATP AND WTA touring players, hitting partner for many. Teaching experience over 30 plus yrs.

How did you get started teaching?

By playing and learning from other coaches compititive, recreational and social. I also attend many classes today on coaching methods for new ways to practice and communicate better so that student become more knowledgeable.
