What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I Interview the student by phone to get an idea of their interest and/or potential. Then, once I have their feedback, I decide the best way to train the individual.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a Bachelor in Fine Arts from the Superior Institute of Art in Havana, Cuba under the guidance of Colombian Nobel Peace Prize recipient, Gabriel García Marquez. During this time I also starred in the film "Cartas del Parque" also written by Garcia Márquez. In Miami, I worked in Latin Soaps for Telemundo Network, as well as conducting Cinemundo Prime Time daily. I worked in Theater and also did National Commercials. I worked with Comedy Central doing voice overs for the Latin version of "South Park" voicing the character of Stan. I also resided 15 years in LA, in which I had my own two TV shows for Estrella TV, "Buscando Amor" and "Segunda Cita." I worked on an episode of Nip /Tuck and Charlie's Angels. In recent years, I filmed the movie "Decalogue" independent producer. I've also done work as an Acting Coach for Telemundo Network in the show "Caso Cerrado."

The standard pricing is $35 per hour with a two hour minimum.
How did you get started teaching?
I became interested in teaching, during Coaching and Training Sessions for TV shows.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with individuals without any type of training, as well as some individuals who have had some type of formal training.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Currently, going back to school to retrain myself with new technology, such as Virtual Reality, 3-D Animation and Game Engineering.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The advise I would give a student is to be empathetic with the instructor and to share the different experiences of the arts.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Interview students individually in order to help them reach their goals.
