About this pro

I teach song, performance and dance creativitly to make sure students are left with their own tools to sing or dance in their room or stage confidently! I have had ballet training for 16 years, with 7 years on pointe. I also sing and major in music, so I find the rhythm part of songs vital to executing the movement spectacularly. I have training in all forms of dance, since I go to class 5 days a week on top of college. My proficiency is in Ballet, pointe, jazz, hiphop, musical theatre, lyrical, modern, etc.

I cannot stop creating!! Performing is such a good way to enhance your mind. You become more aware of emotions, of how to entertain, and your ambition soars because you become passionate about the world you live in.

She is the most graceful, expressive dancer I've seen in years. I'm so happy I can learn from her.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I get to know their strengths and weakness'. I emphasize utilizing strengths during performance and working on weakness' behind the scenes. Practice makes perfect.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have taken ballet for 16 years.

Voice lessons 10 years.

Pointe for 7 years.

Hiphop, tap, jazz and lyrical for 10 years.

I have choreographed numerous theatrical productions at my high school and regional theatre.

I participate in modeling and acting with Posche Modeling and have previously booked commercials, television and film.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

$25 a lesson. I'll sweat for every penny and so will you! Also sometimes I invite students to other events in Miami that are open classes.

How did you get started teaching?

My theatre coach needed someone to teach and I was a junior in high school wanting to explore career options.

What types of students have you worked with?

ages 4-15, can teach anybody

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Performing at a children's hospital songs from my new album Polar World by Sandy Beaches. The experience touched me in ways I'd never expect, and it made performing a whole new entity in this world for me.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Look for someone who will make it fun! (me :))

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Where do I want to be in 2 years? 10 years? Is this a hobby that I want to learn and quit or become good at? How will I gain satisfaction from learning this skill? How often do I need to practice to become a master?
