Joe is a very through instructor. He has a way of making a complex looking move or pattern achievable, and will take the time to really break it down if you struggle to get it. It may seem that his classes are a bit slow but he really emphasizes on the technique rather than quantity of moves you can learn. I highly recommend joe as an instructor for any style of dance.

Every lesson was always a very enjoyable hour and I always learned something. Would like just a tad more feedback about what I specifically need to work on.

    Frequently asked questions

I believe everyone is unique in their personalities and dance goals. My intention is to help each student reach or surpass their dancing goals. The process starts from the moment we meet. Getting acquainted is key in making your dance experience a great one. I build the dancing around you, help you find the beat of the music and show you a plethora of ways to express it with physical movement. And the dance begins.

I have been teaching for 30 years.

I have been certified through Fred Astaire Dance Studio's in American Style Smooth (Bronze, Silver, Gold and Theatre Arts), and American Style Rhythm (Bronze, Silver, Gold and Theatre Arts); Arthur Murray Dance Studio's in American Style Smooth (Bronze and Silver Levels), American Style Rhythm (Bronze and Silver Levels).

Background in music appreciation and music theory helps me get the right beat to moves your feet.

Answered a newspaper ad for a training class with Fred Astaire Dance Studio's in Casselberry Florida. Had been taking lessons for about a year prior to that at Arthur Murray in Longwood Florida.

All types! Young and Young at Heart.

Orlando Kizomba Festival, a relatively new dance style to the States is growing in popularity exponentially. If you haven't tried it, you should!

Personality is key. Find someone who has your best interest at heart.

Try and determined what your true goals are. Wether to simply satisfy a curiosity, attend a dance function (Wedding or Fundraiser...), Become part of a social group, a sense of self achievement, or builing self confidence. When a teacher knows your true passion behind the dance he or she can direct you down the correct path to make that happen. People's goals can change. You may find yourself reaching certain goals quickly and taking on new goals as you become more aquainted with the world of dance.
