Mia Caceres-Nielsen, native to South Florida, is a junior BFA Dance Major at The Juilliard School. She is a graduate of Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach. She has worked professionally and as a volunteer soloist with the touring company Dance Alive National Ballet in North Florida and additionally continued classical ballet training with world renowned ballet mistress Magaly Suarez in Pompano Beach, Florida as well as Deborah Marquez, formerly with Ballet Nacional de Cuba. Mia is an experienced youth teacher in dance arts and has devoted much volunteer time to multiple community dance organizations.
She is interested in continuing her education beyond a performance career in the area of business and education in the pursuit of a lifetime career in the arts. She spends her time at Juilliard gaining the ultimate formal arts education, perfecting her technique, gaining more insight into her own artistry, and exploring her own choreographic skills. Mia has always been focused on enrichment through community involvement and will make it a lifelong mission to give through the art of dance. This is why she loves providing ballet lessons for the community and inspiring those who want to learn how to dance.
