Howee is a professional percussionist. He gives personalized lessons with a warm friendly and personality. He is supportive and patient, but his expectation of his students is that they are prepared for each lesson. This means PRACTICING what he suggests. LOL
Some people in the arts only teach because they're not performing.
Howie has an innate talent for teaching his craft is outstanding. As a flute and Gen Ed teacher myself I can attest to his abilities.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
He will talk to you about what you want to learn and what your goals are. He will begin by teaching you basic rudiments and take you one step at a time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Howie graduated from the Manhattan School of Music. He began his career as a 16 year old playing for acts in the Catskill Mountains of New York. He continued playing for cabaret acts and various Broadway shows when he was given an opportunity to serve as Eartha Kitt's musical director and percussionist when she toured the world in the 1990s. Until Covid, Howie has performed with the San Fransisco and Pittsburgh symphony orchestras and enjoys a free-lance career playing for various acts across here in Florida and across the United States.
