About
Hi everyone! I love to teach dance and theatre, and I have with hundreds of students from the little rascals all the way through to professional levels. I worked in NYC for 10 years on Broadway, received teacher training from American Ballet Theatre, and ran my own dance company there. I've taught at home-style dance studios, professional studios, and even at Yale University. I'm currently the Resident Choreographer at Ruth Eckerd Hall.
My classes are more than just how to point your foot. They're about the joy of dedication and working on ourselves from the inside out, having fun, and being the best we can manage.
If you're looking for great training at any level, you've found the right place! Check out my website 5678werk.com and my Instagram profile, @chris_liddell for more info.

I love seeing how dance transforms the student's life. I have seen many of my students get excepted into colleges and conservatories all over the world. Some for dance, music, acting, and some use the life skills they learned through dance to achieve their academic dreams.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
After a chat about what the student is looking for, I adjust from there. Depending on thier level, I might start with some basics to get on the same page and I quickly know if I need to accelerate, slow down or stay steady.
