Hello! My name is Michael. I've been playing drums for 12 years and wish to share my knowledge and experiences to help the next generation of musicians. I'll accept students at all playing levels and at all ages.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first learn where they are in their skill level in the first lesson. The student and I will talk about where we want to see improvements and where our overall goal is in taking lessons. After that I form such as excercises, etudes, and full songs that will be helpful in our journey together as student and teacher.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was in band throughout high school. I've played in Pinellas Youth Symphony. I also have an extensive background and worship drumming in churches. I have also taken private lessons in the past years, and I also am currently working with a band.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My typical rate is $35 an hour, but I'm always willing to negotiate a price that works for you.
How did you get started teaching?
I have taught friends and associates a little in the past, but this would be my first official teaching experience!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone with a healthy amount of material for you to work on.
