I am a professional dance artist seeking work with established schools, studios, companies, and private clients in
the roles of instruction, choreography, and performance. I am fully committed to the success of each
student, creative project and professional endeavor with which I am involved. I intend to maintain a
standard of integrity and impeccability through great care and attention to detail, an earnestness for
growth and learning, and attending to the specific needs of each learner

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First time meeting a student our class will be focused on evaluating students strengths and weaknesses to determine what sort of Syllabus would best fit their learning experience the dance style(s)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 years training and experience in Traditional West African
10 years training and experience in Jazz Modern Contemporary and street styles

As a young student I excelled in classes began student teaching until I was able to handle a class on my own. Immediately Fell in love with teaching

I am always excited to see you students perform. Seeing them compete and place at nationals was quite fulfilling
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
FIND a teacher whose concern is your growth and SAFETY. Dance is an art form to which our bodies are the medium it's important that dancers are learning how to do movements safely so that they can keep on dancing
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I encourage all focused questions. If it pertains to the movements, music, or any other elements we are learning that day...I am open to it
