I am a professional ballet dancer. I am also a ballet teacher as well as a guest teacher for Summer and Winter Intensive Programs. I've danced almost all classical ballets, I worked with amazing classical and modern choreographers and famous ballet teachers.

I am teaching ballet beginners, intermediate, advanced, pointe work, stretching, progressing ballet techniques classes.

I would love to share my knowledge and experience with you!I am working with kids ages 10 and up as well as adults. Join me and enjoy my classes!

About Yulia Pivotskaya

I graduated from Vaganova Ballet Academy in 2002 and immediately joined The Saint-Petersburg State Academic Ballet Theatre. In 2005 I joined the Mikhailovsky Theatre, where I performed all classical ballets. In 2008 I joined Croational National Ballet Theatre as a principal. I danced Odette/Odile in Swan Lake, Nikia and Gamzatti in La Bayadere, Kitri in Don Quixote, Sugar Plum Fairy in Nutcracker, Aurora in Sleeping Beauty and lead in Le Corsaire, Napoli, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Bolera, Carmen, Carmine Burana, Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux, Classical Pas de Deux, Ekidoom. I joined Dance Alive National Ballet in 2014. Among the roles I've created while at DANB are Lucy in Dracula, Black Swan in a Haunted Swan Lake, Apollo, Sugar Plum Fairy in Nutcracker.

I've got a Master's Degree in Ballet Pedagogy in Vaganova Ballet Academy. I have 14 year history of hands-on experience as a Ballet Teacher. I was a Ballet Instructor in Vaganova Ballet Academy, Russia; in Croatian Ballet School, Croatia; in Pofahl Studio, in Dance Alive National Ballet, USA. I was giving Master Classes and Summer Intensives, doing choreography and staging performances. I've toured with Mikhailovsky Theatre to Japan, with Croatian National Ballet Theatre to Italy and Turkey.
