This family friendly studio is now heading to its 61st year, with grandchildren of former students now taking! (Its directors have 106 years’ experience teaching!) Need your cup of “Joe” on Saturday mornings when you bring in your 3 and 4 year olds? Office manager Tim has coffee ready for you! Not to mention balloons, tattoos and chocolate! Great training and a supportive environment makes this THE studio for your dancers. For pointe students, you can’t beat instruction by a Russian ballerina and partnering by a person who won the international lift competition.

Pofahl Studios is the Official School of Dance Alive National Ballet, providing Pofahl

students the opportunity to learn from, observe and perform with professional ballet dancers.

Pofahl Studios was founded in 1956 to provide quality dance instruction for the dance student from beginner through professional. During its long history the School has proven to be a training ground for thousands of students.

The focus of the school is to teach each student poise, coordination, self-discipline and to instill in them the love of dance. For those who wish to pursue an academic or professional career, a complete training program is offered as well.

The School prides itself on a healthy environment where the individual is respected regardless of talent or academic achievement. The faculty has been selected for their knowledge of the particular dance discipline for their assigned classes.

The faculty enjoys helping each child reach their potential - at the appropriate age and mental and physical readiness. Seeing a 3 year old discover how to skip – watching a child learn how to increase flexibility and then achieving it – watching a student discover the joy of dance – means we are doing our job.
