Gainesville Circus Center (formerly S-Connection Aerial Arts) is the first and only circus school in Gainesville, Florida. We offer training in aerial arts: static and flying trapeze, silks, lyra, pole, acro, hammock and more. We provide training opportunities for both recreational and professional levels, and performance opportunities throughout the year.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We strive to make circus arts accessible to all ages and fitness levels. We place all new students in our intro to aerial class with the option of also combining aerial yoga and aerial fitness in order to master the basics of aerial technique. Students have the opportunity to test out at the end of each month for intermediate and advanced classes. New students can start any time!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BA - Contemporary Dance (Mills College 2005)
MA - Performance studies (UFBA 2008)
PhD - Anthropology, focus on performance (UF 2015)
Scholarship student with Intrepida Trupe, Rio de Janeiro (2012-2013)
Worked with Circo Picolino, Fern Street Circus, and Aerial Revolution.

4 classes/month with 3 month contract = $65/month
4 classes/month with 6 month contract = $60/month
