Diego Varela

Hi, I’m Coach Diego. I’m originally from Argentina and a former ATP professional tennis player. For several years now, I’ve been working as a tennis coach, specializing in high-performance training. I’ve helped develop many top Argentine players, including Guillermo Coria, Franco Squillari, and Agustin Calleri.

I was the Director of the Tennis Academy at the Guillermo Vilas Club in Buenos Aires and also at Sociedad Hebraica Argentina. I have extensive experience coaching both competitive and recreational players, but I particularly enjoy working with students who are goal-oriented and eager to improve quickly.

I focus on teaching strategy and tactics for both singles and doubles. My lessons are not inexpensive, so I’m probably not the right coach for someone just looking to hit for fun. I’m the ideal coach for players who truly want to learn, grow, and take their tennis to the next level.
