What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a student, I feel that the most important part of the entire process is building a relationship or connection with them. At this point in time, if they are looking for a tutor is probably because the student may have been struggling with different types of topics so the importance of teaching them that they need to be confident and believe in themselves before the tutoring begins is essential to their success. I always love meeting with the student or parents before we start so we can work hand in hand to build a special plan of action. Students create a detailed description of their situation and what results they may want.

I've been teaching English for the past 5 years.

$20-25 an hour
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with with kids from the age of 5 to adults. I've also been teaching English at a charter school in Miami for the past two years.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Learning English should not be stressful. With me as your tutor you are going to have a good time and learn at the same time. We will learn about each other and talk about many different topics.
