About
Hi, and thank you for checking out our page!
My name is Rebecca, and I'm the owner and an instructor with Creative Veins Performing Arts Studio. We offer classes in Acting, Improv, Screenwriting, and a variety of 1-day workshops to the Jacksonville, NEFL, and SEGA community! No experience is needed to start, and all are welcome!
We're also Jacksonville's highest-rated and most award-winning studio, where every instructor works professionally in their given craft. Why is that important? Well, to us, the very BEST person to teach you how to do the job of an actor, for example, is someone who has that SAME job right now!
It is absolutely incredible getting to help students pursue a passion that's the same as mine! There's truly nothing better than watching someone's eyes light up and smile from ear to ear because they're doing something they've always dreamed about doing!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
All students, whether new or current, register using the class enrollment form on our website at www.CreativeVeins.com. From there, they will be contacted directly by their instrcutor with all important details regarding their class, what to bring; etc!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our instructors are all trained, agency-represented, working professionals! They're training includes the Strasberg Studio in NYC, The Robert Mello Acting Studios in Atlanta, Dad's Garage Improv Theatre Company in Atlanta, The Groundlings Theatre & School in Los Angeles, The Stella Adler Studio of Hollywood, and Second City in Chicago!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Our sessions are four weeks in length and meet once a week for two hours. Tuition per session ranges from 149.00 - 179.00 and includes all of the session's classes, all classroom materials, and graduation certificate.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advice is to find a teacher who is highly-trained and is currently in the field your looking to train in. The best person to teach you how to do the job of an actor, for example, is with the person who is an actor themselves and is still working at that job successfully.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1.) Why do I want to be a _______________ (actor/improviser/comic/etc)?
2.) What qualifies you to be my teacher?
3.) What examples can you show me of your work in this field? (For example, an actors reel, an IMDB page, video examples; etc)
4.) What opportunities do you provide outside of classes that will help me pursue this craft in a professional capacity?
