Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
a brief conversation on the phone or during the first lesson getting information from the student that is useful for effective instruction. i do have series or packages. the first lesson can be a trial lesson to see if the student wants a series. the schedule will depend on the student's schedule and the level of play of the pupil.
i use a video instructional program for the visual part of learning and teaching aids for the feeling part.
i believe instruction involves communication between the pupil and the teacher.

i have played my whole life and grew up in the golf business. my father was a pro. at one time there were 5 pros in my family.
What types of students have you worked with?
all levels both men and women and children. if you have a partner or small group, i can accommodate that.

teaching credentials from the PGA or LPGA, was that person successful-do/did he or she play on a tour? hire a full time teaching pro versus a club pro who has proshop responsibilities because he/she is more focused on teaching.

how long have they been teaching ?
do they like teaching all levels or do they specialize?
