~TEACHING PHILOSOPHY~
Bob’s teaching philosophy begins with finding the simplest, most efficient and effective way for each individual student to achieve their desired results based on their own physical characteristics, level of commitment, level of capacity, and statistical reality. Bob refers to the game of golf as the world’s largest three-dimensional living breathing jigsaw puzzle. A puzzle that is unique to every player, Bob breaks down every area of the game into four basic puzzles: Thought of Motion, Set-up of Motion, Range of Motion and Pace of Motion. Within each puzzle, Bob intends to educate his students about the cause & effect relationships associated with each technique the game demands, the mind, the body, and all aspects of the game respectively in order to inspire confidence and create a greater, more reactive motion.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The process is customized for each student based on skill level, goals and desired results. A simple meet & greet discussion can be effective or even better, a 9-hole performance assessment is necessary to completely evaluate a player's game in order to fully identify a player's strengths and weaknesses and prescribe an effective course of action.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
PGA Professional, Titlest Performance Institute Level II Certified Golf Fitness Instructor, Professional Golfer.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I teach and train at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Ponte Vedra Beach. My standard consulting and training rates are as follows: $70.00 / 30 minutes, $120.00 / 60 minutes, $175.00 / 90 minutes; however, I also offer Training Packages as well as Player Development Programs.
How did you get started teaching?
I wanted to build a better mouse trap! For far too long I didn't like how the game was being taught. I would see too many golfers losing interest in the game because of poor instruction and over-complicated teaching philosophies and techniques, leading to zero improvement. My philosophy and approach allows me to break things down into digestible pieces and creates a road-map for my students, allowing them to self correct when necessary.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all skill levels from complete beginners to highly competitive golfers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
There's nothing more rewarding then seeing a complete beginner launching the ball into the air for the first time!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do your research, read through reviews, schedule a meet & greet, find the instructor / trainer you connect best with and feel most comfortable with.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask yourself what are your goals and what are you prepared to do to achieve them. Instructors are committed to their students, are you going to commit to yourself and your instructor?
