Dance Fit Goddess is a global movement - class is a fusion of a master dance class that a pro would take - broken down for open level beginners and intermediate/advanced students, with total body workout, and fun choreography at the end. You get more fit, more confident, learn actual dance technique and you connect with other fun ladies in class. We have a ball at every workshop, and the results on your body don't lie!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The class is open level - so beginners through advanced students are welcome.
I am a stickler for good form and technique. I make sure I give each student guidance and watch what they're doing throughout the class. We also have a lot of fun with the music and interacting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a professional dancer and choreographer from NYC - from such schools as Alvin Ailey, Broadway Dance, Martha Graham, Djoniba, Fieldston Arts Conservatory, Paul Taylor, to name a few... I recently relocated to South Florida and started this new company to bring dance technique to the general public. Dance Fit Goddess is a global movement and I am so proud to share what I love to help people enjoy themselves while getting more fit.

How did you get started teaching?
I've been teaching since I was 19 - started as a 'student teacher', then I would teach in between tours and performances. I started choreographing folkloric pieces for parades and private and corporate functions about 7 years ago, and I really enjoy that too. I've created several folkloric pieces and flash mobs, as well as pieces for pro showcases and auditions - so much fun!
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with every age group from 3 years old to 80 years old!
