About
Have had the privilege of coaching golfers for over 10 years. I'm part of the most successful team of coaches in the game. We work with golfers of all levels. Currently have over 30 tour golfers working with us. We simplify golf instruction and training to help our athletes reach their goals sooner and without injuries.
With the help of technology such as Trackman Golf, BodiTrak Sports, as well as the help of our biomechanics trainers we can get our athletes (golfers) to improve at a much faster rate. Looking at how the body works and attacking golf instruction from that point of view makes everyones lives easier. If you can't perform certain movements then no matter how many drills you do or how many lessons you take it's going to be almost impossible to achieve the swing changes you might be looking for. We address those issues first and see what we can improve in the swing. It's something you have to experience!
Playing with the correct equipment is also very important. We will take a look at your current set of clubs and see what we can improve to further enhance your performance out on the course.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Upon arrival we spec out their entire set of clubs. This is great information to have for any level golfer since it rules out and might help explain some issues in their game before they even start hitting golf balls.
We then proceed to our hitting bay where we start analyzing their golf swings. Based on what we found out about their current set of golf clubs we can start to get an idea for what the process is going to look like and start developing a plan for the golfer.
If the student is up for it we can have one of our Biomechanics trainers join and run them through a complimentary physcial assessment which will further help us understand what they can and might have some issues trying to execute in their golf swings based on their physical limitations.
It's all part of our Tour Proven process which has helped countless golfers take their game to the next level.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked for the PGA of America or 8 years learning from some of the best instructors in the game. After leaving PGA I caddied on the LPGA and Symetra Tours which allowed me to spend some time watching and working with some of the best female golfers in the game. After 2 years I came back to Florida and joined the team at the JoeyD Golf Sports Training Center where the #1 golfer in the world Justin Thomas trains at and countless other pros. It’s a dream to work alongside some of the best Instructors, Fitters and Trainers in the game.

How did you get started teaching?
Started my teaching career after playing on some mini tours around the country. I still enjoy playing when I have time and try to keep my game at a competitive level.
I find it's very important to be able to relate to what my students are going through on the course and during practice. Especially for my students who compete on a weeklly basis it helps to have experienced it myself as I'm coaching them through the process of playing at a high level.
What types of students have you worked with?
All levels from Juniors to Tour players. Women and Men of all ages.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
There is no one particular event if anything I would say it’s very cool having my students come by for lessons and having a tour player working out or getting some practice in at the same time. It’s a great learning environment when they are around. Gives my students more motivation to keep on grinding it out and improving. Always a fun time.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure your instructor is qualified. This does not mean if they have a multitude of certifications. A coach is measured by the success of his or her students. Positive reviews count for a lot.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Are you willing to commit to changes that might be coming your way?
Are there any injuries you might have had in recent history that affect your golf game?
What are your goals through this program we're about to embark on?
What area of your game gives you the most issues?
Hows your short game compared to your long game?
